Hlomla Dandala Leaves Smoke And Mirrors And Fans Are Happy Saying Only Zolisa Can Play Role Of Caesar

Last year, sources told City Press that Xaluva had been sacked by Final Chapter Productions for “not obeying producers and being difficult”.Award-winning actor Hlomla Dandala then took  the role of Caesar Ngonyama on e.tv’s Smoke & Mirrors, replacing fellow thespian Zolisa Xaluva.He made his debut in April 2024 but already things aren’t going well for him.

The seasoned and affable actor will not be returning to the soapie for another season.
Dandala took over the role of Caesar from Zolisa Xaluva in etv Smoke And Mirrors Season 2 which is currently airing on etv.At this moment they haven’t said what made him leave the drama.

Other fans shared their true feelings about this saying that only Zolisa can play that role of Caesar,whereas on the side others were saying,he is a top class actor but got wrong role.

In 2018, Dandala debuted as Commissioner Zweli Dikana, Lindiwe’s spouse, in the film The River, starring Sindi Dlathu. Gqibelo is Dandala’s sister. He is the son of Mvume Dandala.Afrikaans, English, Xhosa, Sesotho, and Zulu are the five languages he speaks.
