Skeem Saam Actor Gets Robbed Off His Belongings At Gun Point In Johannesburg

On the N17 ramp onto N1 in Johannesburg at approximately 22:30, Thobela FM radio host and Skeem Saam actor Skhumbuzo Mbatha was allegedly robbed of some of his precious items at gunpoint by unidentified men.

Mbatha claims that two unidentified individuals brandished guns at him and spoke to him in a “overtly foreign language,” leaving him defenseless while he was searched for about ten minutes.

He was looted comprehensively and made to walk towards the nearby abandoned mine waste, where his two phones were removed.

Mbatha emphasized once more how uncomfortable he is after the experience. Nonetheless, he is appreciative that he was told to put on his helmet right away and go off on his bike without turning around.
