Boxer Is Looking Property Managers/ Executives – Gauteng and KZN

Boxer Superstores, one of Southern Africa’s fastest-growing supermarket chains, is seeking experienced Property Executives/Managers to fuel our expansion across the coastal KZN and inland Gauteng regions. If you have a strong background in retail property development, a proven track record in sourcing and securing retail sites, and an extensive network of developers and landlords, we want you on our team!

• Bachelor’s degree in Property, Commerce, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in retail property management.
• Extensive network and proven success in identifying and securing retail property sites.
• Strong skills in market and financial analysis, negotiation, and communication.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel extensively across KZN and/or Gauteng.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Site Identification & Due Diligence: Identify prime retail locations using market analysis, demographic trends, and strategic insights; conduct thorough due diligence on prospective sites.
• Network & Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with developers, landlords, and key stakeholders to expedite site selection and negotiate favourable deals.
• Market Analysis & Legal Compliance: Perform in-depth market studies, analyse consumer trends, and ensure all property transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiation & Portfolio Management: Lead lease negotiations, manage the property portfolio—including renewals, relocations, expansions, and disposals—and prepare insightful reports for senior management.
