Jack Mabaso Rise From The Grave On Generations The Legacy

The renowned actor Vusi Kunene, who was last seen on House of Zwide as Funani Zwide, has rejoined Generations: The Legacy.

The most well-known roles played by South African actor Vusi Kunene include those of Jack Mabaso in Generations and its sequel, Generations: The Legacy, Funani Zwide in House of Zwide, Bhekifa in Isibaya (2014–2016), and Jefferson Sibeko in Isidingo (2009–2014). His distinctive Zulu (IsiZulu) speech is another thing that makes him well-known. Since 1993, he has made appearances in 25 motion pictures and television programs. For the drama Soul City, he was named the 2011 Golden Horn Award winner for Best Actor.



Actor Vusi Kunene has returned to SABC1’s serial opera Generations: The Legacy, according to entertainment analyst Mlu.

Following his absence from his role as Funani Zwide in House of Zwide, Kunene has made a comeback. Kunene is a Shaka Ilembe star.

Due to rising popularity, House of Zwide has been revived for a fourth season. With almost 4 million viewers, the telenovela is the most-watched program on e.tv, according to data from the Broadcasting Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA) for the months of May and June.


In order to appear on e.tv’s House of Zwide, award-winning actor Vusi Kunene left his role as Jack Mabaso on Generations: The Legacy in 2021.He is taking a hiatus from the show, the actor and SABC1 soapie revealed in a statement to TshisaLIVE.



According to Kunene, it has been exciting for him to portray the antagonist. He continues, saying it has been a joy to give the character life.

“My love for Jack has always been intense. Bringing him to life has been a pleasure, and he is the most well-liked character I have ever performed. Because Generations is like a family, I’m going to genuinely miss everyone,” he remarked.
